CARPET TRACK RACING RULES – 3/15/2025

ALL CLASSES
Any questions should be discussed with the race director.
Modifications to improve durability are allowed.
No height restriction.
Track clearance 5mm minimum.
No external roll bars, wings, or spoilers unless they are an usual or integral part of the vehicle.
Bumpers and nerf bars must not extend beyond the tire width.
Body must be painted. Painted windows are allowed.
Battery must be any 6 cell 2/3A NiCad, NiMh or 2 cell LiPo, LIHV (maximum of 2800mA).
Any surface radio.
Automatic Stability Control is not allowed.
Only odorless traction compound is allowed.
No other restrictions or modifications except as specified per class.
If your vehicle doesn’t conform to the rules, the race director may permit you to race, but you will not be scored until the correction has been made.

LATE MODEL
CHASSIS: 16th scale Traxxas Rally, Slash or Revo. Revo must have Rally or Slash suspension arms. Metal suspension arms, links, push rods, and axle carriers are allowed. Sway bars, center differential, and metal chassis are not allowed.
BODY: The Mcallister Batesville 1/18th for the Losi Mini-Late model fits best. Any other Dirt Late Model of the same size may be used.
MOTOR: Stock brushed or brushless.
ESC: Stock. Must be set in training mode.
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any rubber tire. Maximum diameter of 2.65 inches.

BREAKOUT: This is a 4 second breakout class. Any lap less than 4 seconds is not counted.
CHASSIS: Any12th scale pan car.
BODY: Any 12th scale.
GEARS, ESC and MOTOR: Any.
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any 12th scale.

LEGEND
CHASSIS: BoLink or RJ Legend. Steering servo can be mounted above or below the chassis plate or on the front axle plate. Any steering tie rod, ball cups, ball studs, and bearings are allowed.
BODY: BoLink or RJ Speed Legend Coup or Sedan.
GEARS: Spur/Pinion: 81/20.
ESC: Hobbywing Justock. Must be in blinky mode.
MOTOR: Hobbywing Justock 25.5 brushless. Absolutely stock. Fixed timing. No endbell changes.
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any rubber tire

1RC MIDGET
CHASSIS: 1RC Midget.
BODY: 1RC Midget.
MOTOR: 1RC 8700KV.
Only 1RC Midget replacement parts are allowed.(exceptions below).
RADIO: Any surface radio.
BATTERY: Any 2 cell

1RC LATE MODEL
CHASSIS: 1RC Late Model.
BODY: 1RC Late Model.
MOTOR: 1RC 8700KV.
Only 1RC Late Model replacement parts are allowed. (exceptions below).
RADIO: Any surface radio.
BATTERY: Any 2 cell

LOSI NASCAR
CHASSIS: Box Stock Losi NASCAR.
BODY: Any Losi NASCAR.
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any Losi NASCAR.
MOTOR HEAT SINK: Suggested, LOS-1920 (NO FAN ON HEAT SINK)

LOSI NASTRUCK
CHASSIS: Box Stock Losi NASCAR.
BODY: NASTRUCK.
WHEELS AND TIRES: Any Losi NASCAR.
MOTOR HEAT SNK: Suggested, LOS-1920 (NO FAN ON HEAT SINK)
